Skoda ended the year with a historic figure of 1,043,900 vehicle deliveries, an increase of 12.7 percent and the best result in the last six years.
Most importantly, Škoda became the third best-selling brand in Europe for the first time with 836,200 cars sold.
Sales of all-electric models doubled, reaching 174,900 vehicles, while an additional 43,800 plug-in hybrids mean that every fourth car delivered in Europe has a plug-in.
Most notably, the Elroq, a new compact electric SUV that quickly became one of the best-selling electric cars in Europe. Combined with the Enyaq, Škoda has become the fourth largest electric car manufacturer in Europe.
Despite a decline of 11.8 percent, the Octavia is still Škoda’s best-selling model with more than 190,000 deliveries, followed by the Kodiaq, Kamiq and Fabia./9plusfun/
